Therapsida (Beast Arch) is a clade of synapsids that contains mammals & their closest extinct relatives, which many call mammal-like reptiles (however this term is outdated, because they are no longer believed to be reptiles). This includes early synapsids like Lystrosaurus and Gorgonops.
