Teleidosaurus is an extinct genus of thalattosuchian reptile, it's holotype was destroyed during world war two.
Teleidosaurus lived in Normandy, France.
Discovery[]
Teleidosaurus was thought to be a Teleosaurus but was discovered to be a separate genus in 1869.

Teleidosaurus is classified as a Marine Reptile, it is part of the suborder Thalattosuchia.
