Sirenia

Sirenia (usually called “sea cows”) is an aquatic group of marine mammals. They inhabit swamps, rivers, estuaries, marine wetlands, and coastal marine waters. There are two main families: the Dugongidae and the Trichechidae. There are also two extinct families, the Protosirenidae and the Prorastomidae.
