Sinovenator (Chinese hunter) is a genus of Troodontid dinosaur that lived in China during the Cretaceous period.
Discovery[]
Two specimens of the genus were found in China in 2002 and they were given the name Sinovenator by paleontologist Xu Xing.
In 2014 and 2018 more specimens were found including an articulated wrist and skeleton.
Classification[]
Sinovenator is a member of the Troodontid family of dinosaurs. Consisting of small theropods.
