Sedgwickdactylus is a genus of pterodactyloid pterosaur from the Cretaceous of Cambridge Greensand, near Sedgewick, hence the name. It was named in 2017 and the type species is Sedgwickdactylus fittoni, originally named as Pterodactylus fittoni by Richard Owen in 1859. There are many known fossils including many teeth and jaw fragments, all found between 1800 and 1900. All fossils (except the holotype) have been lost, destroyed or stolen.
