Scotty is a specimen of the largest Tyrannosaurus rex in history. The fossil was found near Eastend, Saskatchewan, and was named after the bottle of scotch used to celebrate the discovery.

The skeleton is approximately 13 meters (42.605 feet) long and stands 4.16 meters (13.64829 feet) tall. 65% of the skeleton is complete, and a full cast of the skeleton is currently on display in the Royal Saskatchewan Museum in Regina, Saskatchewan.

In August of 1991, Robert Gebhardt, a high school principal in the area the skeleton was uncovered, joined a team of paleontologists on the trip to the site, which was part of the Frenchman Formation. Tim Tokaryk, an employee at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, began the three year excavation to uncover the skeleton.
