"Sauropodus" (meaning "reptile foot") is the informal name given to an unnamed extinct genus of sauropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous. It was a sauropod which lived in what is now Argentina. The type species was announced in 2001.[1]

Argentine paleontologist Edith Simon told reporters the animal was "30 yards long and weighed about 70 tons". The fossils, which were found beneath the town of Villa el Chocon in Neuquen province, consist of segments of vertebrae along with ribs and limb bones. "Sauropodus" may have been described as Choconsaurus in 2017.[2]
