Sangarotherium aquilonium is an insectivore. It's the parent taxon of Eutriconodonta. It lived in the Early Cretaceous of Russia. The site where Sangarotherium was discovered is believed to have been located above the Arctic circle while it was alive, making it one of the most northernly mammals of the Early Cretaceous.[1]
