Saketoteron is an extinct genus of nimravidae felid that lived Tatrot Formation of Northern India. The type and the only known species is T. tatroinse.
Description[]
The holotype of Saketoteron consist of a partial mandibular ramus, it was discovered near the Saketi village of India. The genus name "Saketo" is after Saketi Village, which is located just near the locality, the species "tatroinse" name is after the Tatrot fm, the stratgraphic unit where the layer the holotype was discovered is located.
