Robert T. Bakker (born 1945)is a vertebrate paleontologist who helped bring about the "Dinosaur Renaissance". He was a major proponent of the theory that dinosaurs were endothermic (warm-blooded) instead of ectothermic (cold-blooded). As of March 2024, he is 78 years old.

He has been in Clash of The Titans, where he talks about dinosaurs. He is mentioned briefly in Jurassic Park by Tim Murphy, when he says that Bakker thought dinosaurs died of diseases. However, in reality Bakker was a key figure of the dinosaur renaissance, and was one of many with the theory that dinosaurs evolved towards birds.
