Qiupalong

Qiupalong ("Qiupa dragon") is a genus of ornithomimd dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous period of China. Its name comes from the Qiupa Formation, the area where its fossils were discovered. It is the first know species of Asian ornithomimid to be found outside of the Gobi Desert in Mongolia, as well as the southern-most ornithomimid in eastern Asia. It is only known from a hip and its hind legs and was discovered in 2011. But in 2017 remains were found in the Dinosaur Park Formation in Canada.
