Pleurosaurus is an extinct genus of diapsid reptile that lived in Germany and France during the Late Jurassic period.
History of discovery[]
In 1834, Pleurosaurus was first discovered in the Solnhofen Limestone by Christian Erich Hermann von Meyer.
