Platyscaphokogia is an extinct genus of pygmy sperm whale that lived in Peru during the Late Miocene. [1] 

Description

Platyscaphokogia is known from two skull specimens, which have a number of aspects similar and distinct from related genera. Platyscaphokogia was likely an active carnivore, had the built for a predatory life within the water column of relatively open environments. [2]
