In Popular Culture[]
- Petrolacosaurus appeared in Walking with Monsters, where it is hunted by mesothelae spiders and Meganeura. In fact, no griffinflies have ever been found in the Upper Pennsylvanian of Kansas, and the spiders that lived there were small and likely became prey for tetrapods themselves.
