Ozarcus is an extinct genus of shark that lived in an ocean basin in what is now Arkansas during the Carboniferous period, about 325 million years ago. The type species is Ozarcus mapesae and was named in 2014 by researchers at the Arkansas Museum in honour of it's discoverer, R. H. Mapes. It is known from a single, oddly shaped skull.
