Ornithomimus Ornithomimidae are a family of ostrich-like dinosaurs that run fast on their feet. They are said to have feathers, but some movies such as Jurassic Park, where the Gallimimus were featherless.

Diet[]

Ornithomimidae were thought to have been omnivorous, eating small lizards and plants. They would possibly do this for extra nutrients, like protein, which was possibly needed for leg muscles to help run and escape predators.

Behavior[]

Ornithomimidae could have behaved in a modern-ostrich way, but we aren’t very much sure as we are not in the same time. Being in flocks, they are highly social and use the safety in numbers advantage to confuse their predator on which one to go for.
