Nakalipithecus is an extinct genus of great ape that lived in the Tortonian stage of the Miocene epoch, known from a discovered jaw and several teeth. Its recovered teeth have been found to be the same size as modern-day female gorillas and orangutans. The teeth were first discovered in 2005, and the species was classified in 2007. The type and only species of the genus is N. nakayamai.
