Mythunga is an anhaguerid pterosaur from the Early Cretaceous regions of Australia, closely related to Ferrodraco. The type and only species is known as M. camara.
Description[]
Mythunga is known from a partial skull. The holotype specimen was discovered in 1991, but it wasn't described and named until around 2007/2008. A 2022 study by Gregory S. Paul estimated it at a 5 meter wingspan and a body mass of 20 kilograms.
Paleoecology[]
Mythunga lived in the Toolebuc Formation with the dinosaur Kunbarrasaurus.
