Minqaria (meaning beak) is an extinct genus of arenysaurinin lambeosaurine hadrosaur related to Ajnabia from the Maastrichtian. It was found in the Ouled Abdoun Basin of Morocco. The type and single species of the genus is M. bata.
Description[]
It is a small hadrosaur, having a length of 3.5 meters (11ft) and weighing 250 kilograms (550 pounds). The braincase bones are fused.
Discovery[]
Minqaria was discovered in Oulad abdoun Basin in Morocco. In 2024, Longrich described it as a new genus of hadrosaurid.
Classification[]
It is classified as a lambeosaurine.
