Megalancosaurus' lifestyle was probably similar to a chameleon
Megalancosaurus was a drepanosaur from the late Triassic period. they were small, less than 30 cm in length and, like chameleons they had pincer-like hands and tails that could grasp branches. Megalancosaurus had long, slender necks and pointed skulls. these reptile's small pointed teeth suggest that it ate insects. Strangely, they had a pointed hook at the end of their tails.

Megalancosaurus was small its adult size being about 25 centimeters (10 inches). It was similar to a chameleon and may have had a similar lifestyle.
