Magyarosaurus dacus (meaning "Magyar lizard") was a species of titanosaurid sauropod from Hateg island that was the size of a large horse. More precisely, because it was living on an island it was downsized by sauropod standards; a result of the natural evolution phenomenon named 'island dwarfism', being one-eighth the size of its closest relative Ampelosaurus.
