Magyarosaurus dacus (meaning "Magyar lizard") was a species of titanosaur sauropod from Hateg island that was the size of a large horse. More precisely, because it was living on an island it was downsized by sauropod standards; a result of the natural evolution phenomenon named 'island dwarfism', being one-eighth the size of its closest relative Ampelosaurus.

- Magyarosaurus made an appearance in the third episode of Dinosaur Planet, "Pod's Travels", a Pyroraptor named "Pod" saw a herd of them.
- Magyarosaurus made an appearance in the last episode of Planet Dinosaur, where the young of this species were depicted as popular prey items for the massive pterosaur, Hatzegopteryx. They are also shown 4 months after the asteroid impact, where they are dying out due to starvation.
- In Zoo Tycoon 2: Extinct Animals, Magyarosaurus is shown in the form of a wearable mascot costume.
