Lost Worlds Vanished Lives is a 1989 documentary about fossils, written and presented by Sir David Attenborough. The executive producer was Mark Salisbury. In each of the four episodes, he visits world-famous fossil sites and talks to world renowned paleontologists. He uses state of the art (at that time) techniques and animation to figure out how life evolved in Earth's past.
