Lokotunjailurus is an extinct genus of African machairodontine cat belonging to the tribe Homotherini. At least two species are known, L. emagiterus and L. fanonei. Members of the Lokotunjailurus genus existed in Kenya and Chad during the Miocene epoch.
Lokotunjailurus fanonei coexisted with Amphimachirodus kabir, Tchadailurus, Stegotetrabelodon, early members of the genus Megantereon and Sahelanthropus tchadensis.Template:Machairodontinae
