The Leptocycas Tree is a plant native to Triassic South America. It is very similar to a palm tree, with its long, woody trunk and tough leaves.  Leptocycas was a cycad, a primitive seed plant from the late Triassic times. It lived in warm ( tropical ) climates.  It was about 4.8 ft ( 1.5 m ) in height.
