Lepidosauromorpha is an infraclass of diapsid reptiles that is comprised of lizards, snakes, amphisbaenians, tuataras, placodonts, nothosaurs, and plesiosaurs.  All of these amniotes are more closely related to lizards than Archosaurs like dinosaurs, crocodiles, and birds.  They have survived from the late Permian into today.
