Lepidosauromorpha is an clade of diapsid reptiles that is comprised of clades of living reptile taxa that are more closely related to lizards than archosauromorphs like dinosaurs, crocodiles, and turtles. They have survived from the late Permian into today.
Lepidosauromorpha is the sister group to Archosauromorpha under the clade Sauria. The clade features several basal taxa along with the extant clade Lepidosauria, which houses all squamates and rhynchocephalians.
