Laurasiatheria is a super-order of placental mammals that originated on the super-continent of Laurasia around 85 mya. It includes Insectivora, Old World fruit bats, echolocating bats, Artiodactyla, Cetaceans, Perissodactyla, Carnivora, and pangolins. It is one of the four super-orders of mammals; the other three are Afrotheria, Xenarthra, and Euarchontoglires.
