Khinjaria (name meaning "dagger") is an extinct genus of plioplatecarpine mosasaurid located in the Ouled Abdoun Basin of Morocco which is only known from a partial skull andits vertebra (backbone). The type and only species of this marine reptile is K. acuta. This mosasaur was likely to be an apex predator in its environment due to its large body size, blade-like teeth, and unusual skull morphology which could allow it to attack prey including Zarafasaura.
