Jurodidae is a family of extinct beetles from the middle to late Jurassic period.
Description[]
Jurodidae is a type of beetle that lived in Asia during the Jurassic period. Jurodidae happens to be larger than modern day beetles. Jurodidae have modern day descendants that they share similarities with. Unlike other insects and other animals, Jurodidae fossils are rare because of this they are some of the most mysterious beetles known.
It also believed that Jurodidae might shared similarities with ants, bees and other insects who live in colonies. Because Jurodidae fossils have been found together it is likely that they lived in colonies unlike modern day beetles.
