Jinfengopteryx (meaning golden phoenix feather) is a genus of troodontid from late Jurassic to early Cretaceous China. It was about 2.3 ft (70 cm) and weighed about as much as a chicken. Originally called a primitive bird but is more likely a primitive troodontid.
