The only known and identifiable remains are excavated from Nanxiong Formation of Nankang County, Jiangxi Province, southern China. The theropod likely lived in the Late cretaceous period. It is an extremely fragmentary theropod known from only a mere few Tooth remains. This megaraptoran is estimated to be The largest megaraptoran known so far by reaching to 11 to 11.5 meters. It is quite the larger sized theropod for its habitat and era.[2]
