Hynerpeton bassetti (/haɪˈnɜːrpətɒn/) (meaning “creeping animal from Hyner”) was a Devonian stegocephalian from North America which lived about 365-363 million years ago. It was 2 metres in length and was named after Hyner, a town in Pennsylvania.
