Huayangosauridae is a type of Family in The Stegosauria Group. They are named after the Huayangosaurus. They tend to have spikes on their back, but unlike Stegosauridae, they have smaller shoulder spikes.

Description[]

Huayangosauridae are not much known and can often be mistaken as Stegosauridae. They were possibly just smaller than the larger ones and would have possibly turn out to be a different family. Another distinguishing feature is its small back spikes. These were possibly the main thing that would have helped know if it belongs to the well-known Stegosauridae or Huayangosauridae.
