Huangshanlong (meaning Huangshan Dragon) is a genus of mamenchisaurid sauropod dinosaur that lived in Anhui province of China in Middle Jurassic.
Discovery[]
It was discovered during the construction of Huihang highway in 2002. In 2014, Huang named it as Huangshanlong.
Description[]
It has the unique combination of features, such as accessory processes are located near the middle of cranial edge. The type species is Huangshanlong anhuiensis, and it is classified as Mamenchisauridae.
