Harry Seeley (February 18, 1839 - January 8, 1909) was a British paleontologist. Among his most important discoveries was the division of dinosaurs into Saurischia and Ornithischia based on the nature of their pelvic bones. Some taxa named by him include Cryptoclidus, Thrinaxodon, Kannemeyeria, Rhomaleosaurus, and Ornithocheirus.
