Haliskia (meaning sea phantom) is an extinct genus of pterosaur that lived in Australia. The type species is Haliskia peterseni.
Discovery and Naming[]
In November 2021, the holotype (KK F1426) was discovered in Queensland,Australia, by Kevin Petersen. In 2024,Pentland described it as a new species of pterosaur. The generic name combines Hals and skia, while the specific name is named after Kevin Petersen, who discovered the species.
Description[]
It is from a fragmented skeleton, however, it is the most complete pterosaur found in Australia. Its wingspan is 4.6 meters (15ft).

It is classified as a member of anhangueridae.
