Gremlin is an extinct genus of leptoceratopsid ceratopsian from the Campanian stage of the Cretaceous period, 77 million years ago, named after a mythical creature of the same name. It was discovered in the Oldman Formation, Canada. The type and only species of the genus is G. slobodorum.
Discovery[]
The holotype specimen, TMP 2011.053.0027, was located in sediment from the Oldman Formation in southern Alberta, Canada. The specimen of the leptoceratopsid consists of an isolated right bone. (which has lost portions of its anterolateral margin, possibly due to erosion)
