Gemuendina is an extinct genus of placoderm belonging to the rhenanida that lived in the seas of the Germany during the Early Devonian period. The genus contains the species G. stuertzi. Placoderms are class of armored prehistoric fishes. It's specimen is about 30 to 110 centimeter long. It superficially resembles an armored ray or skate, but this comparison is merely analogous anatomies.
