Gallornis (Name meaning: French bird) was an Avian from the early Cretaceous France. It is only known and classified from a few fragments belonged to the animal specimen's arm and leg.

During the time of Gallornis, its range was located around 30°N, north of the Tropic of Cancer aridity belt. The animal had lived on a more substantial climate conditions.

As it is so close to the common origin of all living birds, Gallornis cannot be assigned to any living family and probably not even to any extant order. [1]
