Forgotten Bloodlines: Agate is a planned series of short documentaries focused on the fauna living in the Miocene epoch. The series will include creatures from the Agate fossil beds in the United States, hence the title featuring "Agate". The "forgotten bloodlines' part of the title is likely due to the series focusing on fauna that the general public normally never gets a glimpse at, and will remind viewers of these unique close relatives of the modern animals we know well. It will be split into 3 short films with each lasting 15 minutes.
The series is in the process of being funded on Kickstarter, and will not be created without proper support. The first episode has reached its goal of funding and will release soon, but the next two have yet to reach theirs. To help support the project, visit the Kickstarter link here.
Popular naturalist and TV presenter Nigel Marven will appear as the narrator of these films; this would make the 4th prehistoric documentary series he has featured in (after Chased By Dinosaurs, Sea Monsters, and Prehistoric Park).

Trivia[]
- The series is being made and uploaded by Max Bellomio on a YouTube channel named Digital Duck, which makes media based around computer generated extinct animals with a focus on scientific accuracy,
- Forgotten Bloodlines has been in development for quite some time, with the announcement of its creation in 2020.
- The added part of the title "Agate" could imply the potential construction of further documentaries based on other fossil formations if the series does well. (ex. Forgotten Bloodlines: La Brea)
