The Florida black wolf (Canis lupus floridanus), also known as the Florida wolf and the black wolf, is an extinct subspecies of Wolf that lived in Florida.
Possible sightings[]
In 1934, U.S. fish and wildlife collected a picture of Florida Black Wolf roaming around Florida meaning that they are still alive.
