Prenocephale was a dubious species of small pachycephalosaurid dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous of Mongolia and was noticably similar in many ways to its close relative, Homalocephale, which may specuated to possibly represent Prenocephale juveniles. Prenocephale had an 8-inch thick skull, and had large eye sockets. However, there are no clues to what its body looked like.

In popular culture[]
- It has appeared in the American television series Dinosaur Planet where two juveniles have a head-butting contest and are then attacked by White Tip, a Velociraptor, and a group of them are later seen surrounding another Velociraptor called Broken Hand, and it is implied that he's killed by them. The narrator says that Velociraptors know what they taste like.
- Prenocephale is scheduled to appear in the park-building game Prehistoric Kingdom.
- Prenocephale also appeared in the second season of Prehistoric Planet, in the episode, Badlands.
