Elopteryx (meaning 'marsh wing') is a paravian theropod from late Cretaceous Romania (70-66 MYA). It was known from fragmentary material until new specimens were reported in the 21st century. A femur specimen reported in 2024 indicated that Elopteryx was a secondarily flightless avialan, and that Balaur bondoc may be a junior synonym of this taxon.
