Earth is the third planet from the sun in our solar system. 4.6 billion years ago when a spinning cloud of gas and dust condensed into multiple spheres due to gravity, each of these spheres became the 8 planets found in the solar system today, including Earth. Earth is currently the only planet known to support life. Due to the fact it has oxygen and liquid water.
