Diplodocinae is a subfamily of sauropod dinosaurs inside the family Diplodocidae. They mainly inherent long necks, along with long whip-like tails. They also have small spikes on their back possibly as a defense against same-sized predators.

Diplodocinae is named after the type genus Diplodocus, who is also the type for Diplodocidae. Their immense size could have helped defend against predators, but they also likely herded for additional defense along with possible social structures.
