Welcome to Dinopedia's Hall of Fame! Because our wiki is heavily centered towards community and bonding between users new and old, we've decided to immortalize some of the most proficient contributors to the wiki, whether it be winners of challenges or being behind general milestones in Dinopedia's History.
This page isn't intended to prop up users as better than anyone else or put down users that didn't manage to place in this area, but rather document the history of our wiki and give a list of records for other users to beat one day. This page is half serious and half joking, so if you see some joke placements, just smile and wave:). Any joking awards will be marked with a (*).
*Disclaimer: this Hall of Fame page is still relatively new, so records and awards will be few, but hopefully there will be a treasure trove of winners and trendsetters for this wiki and its community.*

Coolest Wiki User*
I don't make the rules, sorry.

Biggest Contributors in History
Dedicated to truly exceptional editors, staff or not, that have shaped the wiki to what it is today. Without these people, Dinopedia would be nowhere near the successful wiki it is today. From cosmetic additions, to reworking/updating of old content, or even just making a massive amount of helpful edits.
- Lemniwinks: Creator of Dinopedia. 'Nuff said.
- Lythronax: Revered for his multiple helpful edits, creation of several templates and major aesthetic changes (including its famous logo), and the father of the only known bot on the wiki, Lythrobot.
- DewottCentral (formerly TheBrandOfTheExalt): Former highest ranked user on the editing leaderboard, created and implemented several images for animal pages.
General Wiki Records
Bot of the Century
The best bot on the wiki, mostly because its the only bot on the wiki.
- Lythrobot: His announcement was on May 5th, 2015, though his true birthday was November 2nd, 2014.
Longest Pages
This wiki has several long pages (many of which are plagiarized which explains their length), but many break the mold with their size. The top 5 largest non-plagiarized pages by byte size will be listed below, and is subject to change as time goes on:
- Tyrannosaurus (≈74,000 bytes)
- Spinosauridae (≈73,000 bytes)
- Allosaurus (≈56,000 bytes)
- Spinosaurus (≈53,000 bytes)
- Dinosauria (≈47,500 bytes)
Most Pages Dedicated to a Single Animal
The woolly giraffe is a nonexistent animal, but has received countless pages created (and deleted) in its name. As for real animals, the Mammoth likely has the most with its pages for its genus along with separate pages for all distinct species in the genus.
Oldest Pages
While there is no surefire way to accurately place the top oldest pages as page history gets altered when pages get moved, but the current oldest unmoved pages known will be listed below.
- Main Page (as expected, created when the wiki was made)
- Dinosauria, Saurischia, Triassic (Tied at September 23, 2006)
- Tyrannosaurus (February 25th, 2009 at the latest)

Art Challenges
2023 Halloween Contest
This contest was themed after the namesake holiday, ranging from a wholesome trick-or-treat doodle to horrifying paleo-art. 9 talented submissions were created, and the winner was Shi, making her the Spooky Queen of 2023 along with her choice as to the next art contest's theming, being autumn.
2024 Autumn Contest
This contest was themed after art in an autumn setting or occasion, such as Thanksgiving or a forest of falling leaves. Of the two submissions, the winner was the user Triceratops Prorsus, and as such was named the Autumn King of 2024.
Editing Challenges
June 2024 Aves Challenge
This challenge aimed to reward editors of avian related pages, whether they were true birds or not, and was decently successful. While the projected 500 total edits was not reached, many new pages were created to support the wiki's reputation and standards much better. The leaderboard for the top 3 contributors to the challenge will be listed below:
October 2024 Pterosaur Challenge
This challenge, much like the last one, aimed to reward those who edited pterosaur related pages along with their closest kin. The projected goal of 150 edits was not reached, but new pages and the renovation of old ones were much appreciated in improving the wiki's quality. This one was much more of a landslide in the winner, as 1st place made 62 points while second was placed at 15 points. The top 3 placements are given:
