Dendrochronological Paleoclimatology is the study of analyzing tree-ring patterns in fossilized trees in order to determine the climatic conditions of the area that the tree lived during that time. The width of a tree's rings determines if the time had good conditions to help the tree prosper (wider), or if the conditions were not good for tree growth.
