Ctenacanthus is a genus of Ctenachanthid shark-like fish from the late Devonian and Carboniferous Americas.[1] It's remains have been found in the Devonian Cleveland Shale of Ohio and Carboniferous Bloyd Formation of Arkansas, among other locations.[2] The genus was named in 1835 by Louis Agassiz.
