Chucarosaurus is a new genus of titanosaur sauropod from the Neuquén Basin, Rio Negro Province, Patagonia. It is monospecific, with the sole species being C. diripienda.[1]
Description[]
Chucarosaurus is known from a single specimen, which is in tern known from various appendicular elements, notably the femur, ischium and tibia. They show great morphological variety, in excess of that which has previously been described among colossosaurs, and possess a unique combination of characteristics.[1]
