Chasmosaurinae is a subfamily inside the family Ceratopsidae. They often have unique horns on their frill or nose, and use them for protection, and also have a beak.

Chasmosaurinae usually have the traditional ceratopsian appearance, commonly having sturdy frills with sharp horns. But, some Chasmosaurines, like Sinoceratops, have strange frills. They usually are slow and big and congregate in herds, but individuals like Styracosaurus are smaller, but do congregate in herds.
